Dexter: Resurrection Filming Locations: Angel warns Harrison

DEXTER: Resurrection Filming Locations - the actual places where the TV show Dexter: Resurrection was filmed.

The Location
: Angel warns Harrison.

Q. What is it supposed to be on the show?

A. A cafe.

Q. Where is it supposed to be on the show?

A.  In New York City.

Q. When did we see it on the show?
A. We see this location in Episode 4 of Season 1 of Resurrection.

Angel Batista, convinced that Dexter is the Bay Harbor Butcher, and seeing his son Harrison as the key to proving his theory, meets Harrison a cafe. Unlike their first relatively cordial meeting at the lobby bar, this time Angel is openly hostile. He more or less accuses him of murdering and dismembering Ryan, issuing a veiled threat about going to the police unless Harrison confirms Angel's suspicions about his father being a notorious serial killer.

But even though (at this point) Harrison still believes that Dexter is dead, he's having none of Batista's spiel, denies everything, and suggests that Angel Is going down a conspiratorial rabbit hole, before leaving the restaurant.

Q. What is it actually in real life?

A. A cafe.

Q. Where can I find it in real life?

A. In real life, this is the Brooklyn Diner, located at 155 W 43rd St., in New York.

That's between 6th Ave and Broadway, in
Times Square

Dexter: Resurrection filmed a lot in this area for Season 1. They shot at least six scenes within a few blocks of this diner, everything from  Dexter first arriving in New York, to a scene of him buying a hot dog in Times Square.

Here is a StreetView lf the diner:

Here is an aerial photo of the location.  And here is a map link.

Q. How the heck did you figure out where it was?

A. Months before the series aired, when they were filming this scene, there were images and video floating around the Internet of David Zayas (Angel Batista ), Jack Alcott (Harrison), and the show's producers coming out of a New York restaurant.

Based on the details seen in that video (such as the bright red neon sign in the front window), I figured out that it was the Brooklyn Diner, and then confirmed it with matching StreetViews and images of the restaurant's interior.

Then I  just waited for the location to show up in the series, which happened in this scene in Episode 4
.
