of the Caribbean"
(Starring: Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom,

It's
official, this premiere will take place at Disneyland!
Yes, the original park in Anaheim, where the
Pirates of the Caribbean ride was first built.
The
premiere will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2003.
They plan to create "the world's longest red carpet",
stretching from Disneyland's entrance, up Main Street USA,
to the Rivers of America in Frontierland, where there will be
a premiere party, and where bleachers will be set up for the
stars to watch the premiere on a huge screen set up across
the River on Tom Sawyer's Island.
Guests
will not be permitted in New Orleans Square
during the premiere, however guests will be allowed to watch
the celebrity arrivals on trhe red carpet on Main Street USA
("although viewing capacity will be limited.")
So it
looks like you may have a chance to see the stars
at this unusual event after all.
Most
of the park will close early that day, at 6 p.m.,
rides on the west side of the park will close at 4 p.m.
