Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - Filming Locations: The Navy Wedding Reception

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.

Episode 5, of Season 2 ("Hen in the Wolfhouse")

We see a wedding reception taking place in a grand room.

The groom and the guests are all in Navy dress uniforms.

Champagne is passed out for the traditional best man toast...

But when everyone drinks it, they start dropping like flies, their faces turning
into stone, not unlike what happens when people touch the Obelisk artifact.

This is actually the Biltmore Hotel, at 506 S. Grand Avenue, in downtown Los Angeles.

To be more specific, this is the Rendezvous Room, at the Biltmore.

The Biltmore, built in 1923, has long been a favorite location for Hollywood, and has
appeared in countless movies , including "Vertigo", "The Sting", "Splash", "Chinatown"
"Beverly Hills Cop", "The Poseidon Adventure", "Fight Club" and "Speed"
and TV shows such as "True Blood" & "Scandal".
