Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - Filming Locations: Paris

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is filmed.

Near the start of Episode 1, we see S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Grant Ward on a motorcycle,
speeding through the streets of Paris, France:

Now with most TV shows, you could safely assume that this was filmed somewhere other than France.
And since most of "S.H.I.E.L.D." is filmed in the Los Angeles area, that should be a good guess.

But, surprisingly, this scene was shot in Paris.  In the screencap above,
he is heading north on the Rue de l'Échelle, where it meets the Avenue de l'Opéra.

Here is a matching Google StreetView of that intersection.

The restaurant that Grant enters (and where he steals a Chitauri neural link from a safe)
is the Le Relais Odéon at132 Boulevard Saint-Germain, in Paris
.

But the scene above was actually shot on a narrow pedestrian way,
behind the restaurant, called Cours du Commerce Saint-André.

The restaurant is actually about a mile away from where he was riding
his motorcycle, and is on the opposite (south) side of the river Seine.

Here's is a Google StreetView of that brasserie.

And here is a StreetView of the actual interior of the restaurant.
(You're seeing the table where he lifted the glass with the man's fingerprints.)

And here is the restaurant's website.
