The lengthy beach scenes, where Cameron talks to a surfer, the girls spy from a
"Hot Dog On a Stick" stand, Bosley (Bernie Mac) tries to find the right Sex Wax,
and Demi Moore puts in her first knockout appearance - were shot at
Zuma Beach, in Malibu, near the rocky tip of Point Dume.

The "Coal Bowl" bike races were shot on Terminal Island in San Pedro,
at an actual coal terminal, where they built the motocross course.

(If the area looks somewhat familiar, it may be that you saw part of it
before in the movie "The Fast & the Furious", in the final scenes
where Vin Diesel tries to outrace a train.)

At first glimpse, the orphanage scenes (where the girls dress up like nuns)
look very much like they were filmed at an actual convent. The real
location couldn't be further removed from convent life...

Those scenes were actually shot at the Playboy Mansion, Hugh Hefner's
infamous den, located at
10236 Charing Cross Road, in Holmby Hills.

(Remember, this is a private home, so don't trespass or disturb the bunnies!)
