The ABC sitcom "Roseanne" lasted nine years and 224 episodes. But now Roseanne has left that behind her and has launched her own syndicated daytime talk show. It debuted in September of 1998, and the show airs locally on KNBC (Channel 4) at 10 a.m. It's basically in interview show, with Roseanne being her usual candid, earthy self (despite a makeover and her losing quite a bit of weight since the old days)
So far, Roseanne has hosted big names such as Whoopi Goldberg, Julio Iglesias, Bill Cosby... even rival Oprah Winfrey. But her guests are not always Hollywood stars. During the week of April 29, for instance, Roseanne's guests included Denise Brown (Nicole Brown Simpson's sister), Ellen Degeneres' mother, Betty Degeneres, sex experts, and Kermit the Frog. Tickets to the show are available one week in advance of the of show taping. You can go directly to the ticket office at CBS Television City to pick them up. Or to request tickets by mail , send a self-addressed stamp envelope to: CBS TICKETS Allow 3 to 4 weeks for tickets. A ticket does not guarantee admittance to the studio; seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis (to those with tickets).
