Why: Picturehouse will release GRACIE nationwide on June 1, 2007

Set in 1978 in suburban New Jersey, GRACIE is the story of a sixteen year-old girl, who, after a family tragedy changed her life, fought for, and won the right for girls everywhere to play competitive soccer.

GRACIE was directed by Academy Award® winner Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) and produced by Andrew Shue, Lemore Syvan, Elisabeth Shue and Davis Guggenheim. Soccer choreography was designed by Dan Metcalfe (Kicking & Screaming; She’s The Man; Futbaal: The Price of Dreams).
