    The 2008 AFI FEST presented by Audi Presents
    the Closing Night Gala Presentation of DEFIANCE

    WHO: Edward Zwick (PROD/DIR/SCR), Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell, Marshall Herskovitz (PROD)

    WHAT: Based on a true story, Zwick's latest epic follows three Jewish brothers (Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell) in Nazi-occupied Poland who escape into the forest, join up with Russian Resistance fighters and create a fortified village. There they courageously battle the Germans, saving the lives of more than 1,200 other Jews. The cast also includes Alexa Davalos.
