The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.
Episode 16, of Season 2 ("Afterlife")
At the end of the episode, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Leo Fitz is allowed to leave Robert Gonzales's
pseudo-S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, after Jemma Simmons convinces them that the cube
(e.g. "The Toolbox") is worthless without Coulson.
In this scene, we see Fitz hurrying away, outside of an aqua blue building.
He flags down a taxi, hops in, and heads out of town.
That aqua blue building seen behind Fitz is actually the
Canyon Theatre Guild, at 24242 Main Street,
in Old Town Newhall (Santa Clarita), CA.
Here is a Google StreetView of that theatre.
Inside the cab, we see that Jemma has smuggled him Coulson's actual cube,
while keeping a worthless replica to fool her captors.
( She has also made Fitz a going away snack, a sandwich with "a hint
of pesto aioli", which he starts to eat as the cab drives away. )
As they drive, the cab is heading northwest on the
24300 block of Main Street, in Newhall (Santa Clarita). CA.
Outside the taxi window, in the screencap below, we can see
a colorful mural on the side of one building:
That mural is a painting of the old Southern Hotel in Newhall, which burned down in 1888.
The mural is on the northwest-facing side of the "Newhall Law Building" at
24271 Main Street, at the south corner of Main Street & Market Street.
