Seeing Stars: Final Resting Places of the Stars

24754 Trabuco Road,
Lake Forest, CA. / (949) 837-1331

There
is only one well-known person buried at this small Orange County cemetery,
but she is a figure whose tragic death made the headlines: Nicole
Simpson (1959-1994),
wife of O.J. Simpson, and murder victim in the infamous
case that dominated the news throughout the mid 90's.
And
her grave is fairly easy to find.
Once you pull through the main
gates of the park, turn right (west) and follow the road a short distance
until it dead-ends at a u-turn point. Make a u-turn and park just west
of the brick building which is on the south side of the road.
Nicole's grave is located just
behind (south of) that brick building. Just walk around the building and
look for two small flower pots on her grave, about four rows back (north)
from the building.

Getting there:
Ascension is a Catholic cemetery located in Orange County, about 15 miles
southeast of Disneyland, near the "El Toro Y," and north of the
Laguna Hills Mall. Take the 5 or 405 Freeway south to the Lake Forest
Drive exit. Go northeast on Lake Forest Drive (about 2 miles) to Trabuco
Road. Turn left (northwest) on Trabuco, go a half mile northwest and the
cemetery will be on your left (southwest) side.
