Episode 1 (of Season 2):  “Change Scenario”

0:16:40: With their android ("Humanic") son, Ethan, kidnapped by the government,
John & Molly Woods go to the home of a friend, General Tobias Shepherd,
hoping he can help them get their son back.

He tells them that National Security considers Ethan a threat, because (last season)
he easily hacked a government computer and blew up a building.  He says that the
government is planning to mothball the Humanics program and to seize and
decommission all "service bots".  He tells them that he pulled every
string he could, but there's nothing he can do about it.

This nice Tudor home is located at 535 S. Plymouth Blvd
in Los Angeles's posh Hancock Park neighborhood
(about a block north of Wilshire Blvd).

Here is a Google StreetView of the house,

knock on their door, or do anything else to disturb the residents. ]

0:24:42: Following her husband's murder, Molly is locked up at Restwell Recovery Center:

She is supposedly there on a 90-day psych hold, but once they have her captive there,
they keep extending her mandatory stay indefinitely.

She eventually overpowers a guard and makes her escape in his car
.

Once again, this show finds a very cool, futuristic building to use as a location...

And it took me a long time to track it down.

My first guess was that it was probably a building on a college campus,
or perhaps an avant garde office building.  But I was way off.

When I finally found it, I was surprised to discover that it was actually
somebody's house!  Who'd have thought it?

But even more far-fetched is that it was rented by none other than
Justin Beiber, for $59,000 a month.  In fact, a news story about
him renting the place is how I eventually found it.

You'll find the house at 1169 Loma Linda Drive, in Beverly Hills.

And it looks just like it does on the show.  Here are some photos of the house:

Here is a great Google StreetView of the house.

0:33:38: Once out of Restwell, Molly goes to a crime scene house,

The crime was one of several where young women had died, with their abdomens ripped open.
She suspects that the wounds were actually caused by an alien offspring tearing
its way out of their bodies, and she's there looking for proof.

Unfortunately, what she finds is a bounty hunter, J.D. Richter, who busts her.

This house isn't as big as the General's mansion, but you'll find it in the same general area.

This house is nine blocks north of that earlier Hancock Park Tudor,
at 607 N. Lucerne Blvd
, Los Angeles

[ Warning: This is a private home.  Do not trespass on their property,
knock on their door, or do anything else to disturb the residents. ]

Now here's something funny: This Google StreetView actually shows
the production company setting up at the house to film this very scene.

And here is a better Google StreetView of the house itself.
