According to the L.A. Times, John Stamos ("Thieves," "Full House") says it's "a fun place. It's dark and there's some drinking involved. It's a very small, tiny place, so you're sitting right on top of people. Cindy Crawford's husband, Randy Gerber owns it, I think. You always run into fun people, and there's always trouble to be had there." The Whisky Bar was also the scene of a superstar dispute in March of 1994. Actor Don Johnson got into an insult-and-shoving match with actor Gary Oldman, after the latter refused Johnson's offer to buy him a drink. The scuffle was broken up by actor James Caan (star of "The Godfather").
