Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - Filming Locations: Motel Pool

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.

At the end of Episode 20 ("Nothing Personal"), having escaped Ward & Deathlok,

but still reeling from Hydra's takeover of S.H.I.E.L.D., the agents regroup next to
a swimming pool at a small motel.

Fitz & Simmons talk about Ward's treason, while sitting at the pool's edge.

Coulson meets with Agent Maria Hill in one of the motel ,
and they talk about a possible future without S.H.I.E.L.D.

Coulson & Skye talk, poolside, and she tells him she left something
on Ward's computer that should help them find him.

Trip takes advantage of the rare time off the enjoy junk food.

And later, Melinda May shows up in Coulson's room and shows him the classified report
about the top-secret T.A.H.IT.I. project, that she found in his fake grave at the cemetery.

The same motel shows up again in Episode 21 ("Ragtag"), as the place
where the agents plan their next move against Hydra.

They used an actual motel for this scene.

It was the Vagabond Inn, at 3101 S. Figueroa Street, in Los Angeles

That's on the west side of Figueroa, just north of the USC campus, and less than
two miles southwest of L.A. Live, where they filmed the falling-Lola scene.)

( I believe the producers added the neon sign with the girl diving into the pool. )

Here is a StreetView of the motel.
