Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - Filming Locations: Flying Lola

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is filmed.

At the end of Episode 1, Phil Coulson & Skye are seen at a ranch house,
where they have taken Mike Peterson's son to be cared for until his father is well:

Skye gets into Coulson's classic Corvette, 'Lola', and is shocked when 'Lola' suddenly takes flight:

This scene was shot at Ventura Farms, at 555 W. Potrero Road, in Thousand Oaks, CA.

The 1,300 acre ranch, which (among other things) breeds Arabian horses, is owned by
billionaire David Murdock, of Dole Pineapple, one of the richest men in the world.
But this house & red barn are located far to the northwest of the main "farm".
It's about a thousand feet east of Thorton Ranch Road, on an unnamed road.

Thousand Oaks is located 35 miles northwest of downtown L.A. (and north of Malibu),
in the  the Conejo Valley - which is west of the San Fernando Valley.

(In the shot above of the ranch house, the camera is looking southeast.)
There is no Google StreetView available on the private roads, but
here is a StreetView of the main gates to Ventura Farms.
