The
Southern California locations where Agents
of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.
S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Bobbi Morse is being held prisoner by Grant Ward and Agent 33, in what
appears to be a deserted factory or plant, supposedly located in Aranda de Duero, Spain.
Bobbi is tortured by Ward, who inserts needles under her fingernails, as he
attempts to force her to apologize to his girlfriend, Kara (Agent 33).
At one point, Bobbi gets free and is getting the best of Ward in a fight; but when
Agent 33 joins the struggle, Bobbi is outnumbered and is subdued again.
S.H.I.E.L.D. eventually discovers the location, and mount a rescue mission,
led by agents Melinda May and Bobbi's ex-husband, Lance Hunter.
So, Ward changes his tactics, and sets up a trap for the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who he knows will
come to rescue her: a rifle trained at the door, designed to kill the first person to walk through
the door, with Bobbi bound & gagged to helplessly watch the execution.

But Ward & Kara make the mistake of sticking around to see what happens.
As they expected, Lance shows up to rescue her, but when she hears him at the door,
Bobbi tilts her chair into the line of fire, taking the bullet herself.
Meanwhile, May tricks Agent 33 into disguising herself as May, and Ward
shoots & kills her, not realizing who she really is until it's too late.
This scene was shot inside the South Gate Industrial Park,
at 2413 Firestone Blvd, in South Gate, CA.
The
city of South
Gate is
located about
seven miles
south of
downtown
Los Angeles,
between Watts
and Huntington
Park.
This
is the same
warehouse seen
as "The
Todorov
Building"
(which was
supposed to be
in Zloda,
Belarus), back
in Episode 4
of Season 2.
Only this
time, they
only used the
interior, not
the exterior.
