Marvel's Agents of SHIELD

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.

Episode 5, of Season 2 ("Hen in the Wolfhouse")

S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Jemma Simmons has infiltrated Hydra headquarters, posing
as a loyal Hydra employee, while actually spying on the organization.

In this scene, we see her leave that building and walk to a nearby park.

Sitting down, she uses a tablet to (vocally) send a secret message to S.H.I.E.L.D., warning
about Hydra's efforts to weaponize the Obelisk artifact, which could kill millions.

However, she doesn't realize that she is being watched by Hydra agent Raina.

Raina shoots a photo of Jemma in the park, and later, at a restaurant, she tries
to blackmail Coulson with the photo, threatening to expose Simmons.

This scene was shot in the Bank of America Plaza,
at 333 S. Hope Street, in downtown Los Angeles.

The plaza is an outdoor
park-like setting (complete with trees, fountains, waterfalls,
and a Calder sculpture), located on the south side of the Bank of America tower,
a 55-story skyscraper (and the 5th tallest building in L.A.)

The BoA tower is bordered on its north side by 3rd Street, on its east by Hope Street,
and on its west side by Flower Street (with the plaza on its south).

Here is a photo of the BoA tower:

Here is a matching Google StreetView of the garden.
