Ben & Alison (and her sister) head out to a baby store in the Valley, where Ben jokes
about a "Baby Björn" product, and her sister agrees to buy them a $1,400 crib.

That store is actually "Baby Town", located at 18725 Sherman Way, in Reseda.
That's in the San Fernando Valley, about 8 miles west of the San Diego (405) Freeway
and about 2 miles north of the Ventura (101) Freeway.

When they come out of the store, they bump into a group of her friends in the parking lot.
Ben embarrasses Alison by telling her friends that she's pregnant and making off-color jokes.

That scene was shot in the parking lot on the north side of the Baby Town building.

Speaking of the Valley, Ben & Pete go the a record store in the Valley, where they
talk while looking through the vinyl record bins, and Pete tells Ben about "Mr. Skin".

In real life, this record store isn't in the Valley. It's actually in West L.A., at 11609 W. Pico Blvd.
That's NW of the interchange of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway and the San Diego (405) Freeway.

Ben & Alison have dinner with Debbie & Pete in a dimly-lit, sophisticated restaurant.
Pete does an impression of DeNiro, and the girls get angry when the boys admit that they miss
the freedom of being single. Ben references 'Doc Brown' from the "Back to the Future" movies,
and Alison doesn't know what he's talking about.

These scenes were filmed at (the now-defunct) Sterling Steakhouse, at 1429 Ivar Ave, in Hollywood.

That was right across Ivar Avenue from (west of) the Cinerama Dome/ArcLight theatres.

Sterling Steakhouse shared the former Sunset Room space with the Cabana Club. The restaurant
has since gone out of business (although, as of 2007, the Cabana Club remains open).

          

Ben & Alison are driving together, when they get into a big argument about Pete,
and she kicks Ben out of the car in the middle of nowhere.

That is supposed to be near Koreatown. But it's not. It's back in the Valley.

In the photo above, they are driving north/northwest on Lankershim Blvd,
between Victory Blvd & Oxnard Street, in North Hollywood.
(The camera is looking south.)

The photo below appears to have been shot just around the corner from Lankershim,
a few yards west of the corner of Oxnard Street & Farmdale Avenue, in North Hollywood.
(The camera is looking southeast, as Ben walks west down Oxnard.)

( It would be a short walk back to the earlier location of the Drug Emporium
where Alison shopped for her pregnancy tests. It's right around the corner.)
