Finally, some new filming locations!

0:17:10: Molly & JD manage to find Nicholas Calderon's secret home
(hidden behind an invisible barrier).

Calderon is the man whom Molly's late husband trusted with the only item
that could stop the Humanichs and the runaway computer program, 'Taylor'.

In real life, this is the "JAI House" (pronounced 'Jaw'),
at 25154 Mulholland Highway, in the mountains of Calabasas, CA.

That's at Cold Canyon Road, about four miles inland (north of) Malibu beach.

An architectural award-winner, the futuristic, 4,500-square-foot home
has made the cover of countless magazines, has been a location
for many commercials (particularly for luxury cars) and (as you
can see above) offers great mountain views (not to mention a
pool that starts inside the house).

Here is a Google StreetView of (part of) the house.

[Warning: This is a private home.  Do not trespass on their property,
knock on their door, or do anything to disturb the residents.]

Here is a better look at the futuristic house:

0:38:23: We see Nicholas Calderon in the city, getting his face scanned at a bank ATM machine,
in order to retrieve the contents of a box he had stashed there long ago.

In this scene, he has left his hidden home and has gone to the city to retrieve
"Einstein's Regret", a worm (program) that he and Molly's husband
created as a safeguard, that can turn off both Humanichs
and the runaway computer program known as 'Taylor.

He gets the object and gives it to Molly, but immediately afterward
(as he expected), he is arrested by police swarming on the scene.

The "city street" seen behind him in the screencap above is really
the 'Brooklyn' set
on the back lot of Paramount Studios.

He is actually standing on the 'Greenwich Village' street set,
at the corner where it intersects with the Brooklyn set.
The camera is looking east/northeast towards 'Brooklyn'.

Paramount Pictures is located at 5555 Melrose Ave, in Hollywood.

(You can see this set in person when you take their studio tour.)

Here is a Google Sphere of the set.
