1:18:20: Vincent then forces Max to
accompany him into the "Fever"
nightclub in Koreatown,
where Vincent intends to kill another name on his hit list, a Korean man named Peter Lim.
Max & Vincent are soon joined in the club by the FBI (in full battle mode) and by Felix's gunmen
(intent on killing Vincent if he doesn't succeed). Shooting starts, and all hell breaks lose.
Vincent kills a number of gunmen, as well as his target, Lim.
The exteriors for "Fever" were filmed at an actual nightclub
called "Bliss", which is located
on the second floor of Chapman Market,
an historic 1929 shopping plaza off Wilshire Blvd,
at 3465 W. 6th Street, #200, near Koreatown.
Featuring castle-like, Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, Chapman Market is a local L.A. landmark.
Built in 1929, it was one of the first markets in the world to offer a parking lot in the back.
The 2nd-floor entrance to the club is behind (on the north side of) Chapman Market.

In the screencap above, of the limo turning into the parking lot, we are at the corner of
6th Street & Kenmore Avenue, looking north up Kenmore, as the limo
turns west into the parking lot behind Chapman Market.

( For the interior club shots, they
duplicated "Bliss" on a movie set, but enlarged it to
seven times its actual size. The actual "Bliss" is much tamer and much smaller.)
1:24:55: As the shootout winds down, Detective Fanning (of the LAPD) hustles Max out of the club.
They get briefly separated as they exit the club and step out onto the street, and when
Max looks back, he sees Fanning get shot multiple times. He turns to see Vincent,
gun in hand, standing next to the taxi. As Fanning lies dying in the club doorway,
Vincent forces Max back into the taxi, and makes him drive away from the crime scene.

This post-shootout scene was shot on the west side of Chapman Market, which faces Alexandria Ave.
The small doorway where Fanning is shot & killed (seen above) appears to be
an exit-only side door from the general Chapman Market center.

1:25:09: When Vincent appears, with the taxi, he is also on Alexandria Ave. The building seen behind
him is the Chapman Studio building, across the street, on the west side of Alexandria, which
was built as a companion piece for the main Chapman Market, and greatly resembles it.
1:25:30: And as Vincent forces Max to drive away from the scene, they are headed south on Alexandria.
