Quinn wakes up from a drunken night out at a strip joint, with no clear memory of what happened the night before.
Angel spots
that his gun is missing from its holster. Quinn believes that
after Masuka left him at the club, he had sex with a hot stripper in her
car. His guess is that maybe his gun fell out in the back seat.
Since his cell phone is also missing, they use GPS to find pinpoint the
phone's location. It gives them a residential address halfway
across town.
In this scene, they go to that house, with Quinn expecting to encounter the stripper he slept with.
A young,
attractive woman answers the door. Quinn says he thinks he left
his stuff in her car, but she replies that she doesn't have a car.
Then she says he must mean her mother.
A much
older, not-so-attractive woman comes to the door, kisses Quinn, and it
becomes very clear that he slept with her the previous night - an idea
that clearly horrifies Quinn and amuses Angel.
The lady
isn't at all shy about it, clearly relishing her night with a younger
man (and blissfully unaware of Quinn's revulsion).
Turns
out, she didn't even work at the strip club - he apparently met her at
the waffle house across the street, where she worked.
A shaken Quinn retrieves his gun & cell phone from her car, looks at the phone, and says "Oh my god, we took pictures!"
Q.
What is it actually in real life?
A. A residential home - just not in Florida.
Q.
Where can I find it in real life?
A. This house is located just around the corner from Gellar's church, at 6221 Arroyo Glen Street, inthe Highland Park section of Los Angeles (about halfway between downtown L.A. and Pasadena).
It's the second house east of the Abbey, just south of Figueroa Street, and just north of the Pasadena (110) freeway.
Here is a Google StreetView of the house:

[Warning: These is a private home. Do not trespass on their property,
knock on their door, or do anything else that might disturb the residents.]
A. In previous seasons, I've
usually had to hunt down the locations after viewing the episodes,
using clues from the various scenes. By the 6th season, though,
I'd developed a small group of fans, spies & tipsters who kept an
eye out for Dexter filming in their neighborhoods, and would let me know
in advance when something was about to film there.
Between those reports, my own personal reconnaissance around town, and a
few new resources I discovered, by the time the first episode aired, I
already knew most (but not all) of the filming locations, and only
needed to watch the episodes and match up the scenes with the correct
locations.
This group of helpful fans includes Kerry, Rick, Ellen, Susan, Jason,
Elaine, Joel, Julie, Geoff, Jeff, Jen, and others. My thanks to all of
them.
Rick let
me know, back in August, that they were filming at one of the houses
next to Gellar's church on Arroyo Glen. When this scene aired, you could clearly
see the address, 6221, on the mail slot to the right of the door (check the top
screenshot). Then Google StreetView allowed me to confirm it with obvious matches of
the triangle-shaped window on the door, the fence next door, etc. (Thanks, Rick!)
