Perhaps the easiest way to appear on network television is to be a contestant on a game show.

You'll get national exposure (enough to make you a minor celebrity in your own neighborhood, at least). And if you score big on a show like "Jeopardy," strangers may even stop you on the street and ask for your autograph.
