Celebrities watch movies too. Did you ever wonder where the stars go when they want to rent the latest movie video or DVD? Well, right next door to the Malibu Colony (in the Malibu Colony Plaza shopping center) is what you might call "The Video Store To The Stars."

You never know who you might bump into in this particular branch of the Blockbuster video chain. It gets a steady stream of celebrity customers from the Colony, including such locals as Bruce Willis & Demi Moore, Nick Nolte, Cher, Linda Hamilton, Rod Steiger, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Shirley MacLaine, Sam Elliott, Candice Bergen and John Cusak, all renting their favorite videos here.

 Getting there: The store is located in the Malibu Colony Plaza. The Plaza is at the southwest corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Webb Way (about a mile west of the Malibu Pier), just a block or two away from the main gate of the Colony. Take the Santa Monica (10) Freeway west to its end, where it becomes Pacific Coast Highway, then follow P.C.H. north (then west) along the coastline, for about 12 miles, to Webb Way. Turn left at Webb Way, and the center will be on your right side.
