Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - Filming Locations: "Vancouver"

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.

Episode 9, of Season 2 ("...Ye Who Enter Here")

We see Raina, with some new-found sugar daddy, in a bakery,
that we are told is in Vancouver, BC.

It isn't.

This is actually Hygge Bakery, which you'll find at
1106 S. Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles

That's on the east side of the street, just south of 11th Street,
two blocks east of L.A. Live and the Nokia Center.

Here is a Google StreetView of the bakery. (Feel free to go inside.)

When Raina exits the bakery, she turns right, which is north.

But when she is being followed by Hydra and is called into an alleyway by
Agent Koenig (who hides her under his cloaking umbrella), they are actually just
south of the bakery, in an alley on the south side of 1130 S. Hope Street.

Here's a Google StreetView of that alley.

In the screenshot below, looking out from that alley, towards Hope Street,
the pale green building you see in the distance is at 1130 S. Flower.

The producers managed to squeeze three different scenes out of what
is basically the same L.A. location.

In a second scene, we first see a Hydra agent leaning against his car:

In the screencap above, we are looking south down Grand Avenue, between 11th & 12th Streets,
(which is just one street east of that earlier Hope Street bakery location - that we will see again.)

Agent Koenig appears, and as he is walking down the street, the Hydra agent follows him:

In the screenshot above, he is walking out of a gate just south of 1101 S. Grand Ave.
(The camera is looking west.)

Lance Hunter then appears, behind the Hydra agent, and quietly takes him out:

In the screencap above, the camera is looking south, down the west side
of Grand Ave, in front of 1101 S. Grand Ave.

Later still, in a third scene, we see Skye & Raina in an alleyway, next to a brick building.

They are hiding out from Hydra. But when Raina realizes that Hydra doesn't want to kill
her - but instead needs her - she stops hiding and tries to escape, running out of the
alleyway and waving down the Hydra agents.

This scene was shot in an alley right next to the earlier umbrella-alley scene.

Only where the umbrella alley is on the south side of 1130 S. Hope,
this other alley is on the north side of 1130 S. Hope.
Same building - different sides.

When Raina runs out of the alle, and the Hydra agents run towards her, the
agents are struck by an oncoming SHIELD van, and Raina is recaptured.

In the shot above, Raina and Skye are running west across Hope Street.
You can see that same pale green building (at 1130 S. Flower) in the distance...

The van comes from the south, and is heading north when it hits the Hydra agents.
