Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - Filming Locations: Skye & Cal stroll Milwaukee

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.

Episode 18, of Season 2 ("Frenemy of my Enemy")

29:00: Gordon teleports Skye & her father (Cal) away from the Inhuman sanctuary, and
into an urban alleyway, supposedly in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (But don't believe it.)

There, Cal wants to show his new-found daughter his town, referring to it,
somewhat awkwardly, as their "first father/daughter date".

This is an actual alleyway called Frank Court, and you'll find it in downtown Los Angeles.

(Yes, the alleys have names in downtown L.A. And they are very
much in demand by filmmakers looking to film urban scenes.)

The alley runs north/south, linking W. 4th Street with W. 5th Street,
between Broadway and Spring Street,

Here is a Google StreetView looking south down that alley.

In the photo above, they are walking south down Frank Court, away from 4th Street, towards 5th.

Next, they are seen walking through the city, as Cal tries to take Skye to his favorite pastry shop.
But when they get there, it's gone, and has been replaced by a currency exchange.

In the screencap above, they are walking east on the north side of 5th Street.

That "currency exchange" they see is actually a storefront at 211 W. 5th Street (just east of the
alleyway), that normally houses the offices of the Downtown L.A. Business Improvement District.

As they continue their tour, Cal becomes more and more upset about how things
have changed, and about his favorite old haunts disappearing...

After he almost gets into a fight with two guys who bump into Skye, she sends him
into a liquor store to buy ice cream, while she secretly phones Coulson for help.

At 39:00, we see them walking north on the east side of Broadway, past 420 S. Broadway.
(In the screencap below, the camera is looking south, down Broadway.)

The liquor store, where Cal goes in to buy ice cream, is a fake. That storefront,
at 410 S. Broadway, currently houses an acupuncture/massage parlor.
