Marvel's Agents of SHIELD

The Southern California locations where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is filmed.

Episode 18, of Season 2 ("Frenemy of my Enemy")

About 8 minutes into the episode, we see an establishing shot telling us we're
in
"Tijuana, Mexico" (we're not, of course), and we see Agent 33 talking on the
phone to her mother from a Mexican restaurant.  She has a new face, apparently
based on a photo her mom sent her.

She starts to leave, but is greeted by Coulson, holding a gun,
who is backed up by Deathlok.

Coulson then uses her as bait to force former agent Grant Ward to meet with him.

While they're waiting, Deathlok (Mike) notes that she's wearing a mask, and
(given his own facial disfigurement) asks if she has any more of those lying around.

Grant Ward shows up -- apparently he has developed some real feelings for Agent 33.

Deathlok makes him surrender his weapons, and then Ward goes to talk to Coulson,
who offers him a deal: help him and he will be allowed to walk free -
after they wipe his memory...

No need to go all the way to TJ to dine at this Mexican restaurant.

These scenes were filmed inside Paco's Tacos Cantina, right here in L.A.,
at
4141 S. Centinela Ave, between Culver City & Marina Del Rey.

So, if you want to drop by, you can get your fill of tacos, burritos & combo plates,
while sitting in the same booth as Ward & Coulson.

Here is a Google StreetView of the restaurant exterior.
