Seeing Stars: Where the Stars Dine..

3500 W. Olive Avenue,
Burbank, CA. / (818) 953-7752

Alas, Dalt's closed its doors in 2005.

I will leave this page up for anyone interested in reading about the former restaurant, but keep in mind that the article below was written when Dalt's was open and thriving.

Dalts Grill restaurant is located right next door to Warner Bros. Studios (and just a short distance from the Disney and NBC studios), on the ground floor of a modern office tower which is also home to several entertainment-related businesses. So, it's hardly surprising that when lunch time rolls around, the waitresses here encounter Hollywood celebrities on almost a daily basis.

The place looks a lot like "Cheers," and although everybody doesn't know your name there, you might know the names of some of their customers. Waitress Sherry Merz reports that she recently served a pot pie to actor Kevin Costner ("Waterworld"), a cheeseburger to director Quentin Tarantino ("Pulp Fiction"), a quesadilla to actress Sela Ward ("Sisters"), and clam chowder to rock singer Meat Loaf.

Prices are easy on the wallet at Dalts, with American diner food: a host of sandwiches, chicken pot pie, soups, salads, fries, Mexican items, apple blackberry cobbler and a spectacular chocolate malt cake. Most meals for two should easily be under $30. And they're open late.

Getting therefrom Warner Bros. studios, just head north one block on Hollywood Way to Olive Avenue. Bear right on Olive, and go one block northeast. Dalt's will be on your right side (part of a business complex).
