The place looks a lot like "Cheers," and although everybody doesn't know your name there, you might know the names of some of their customers. Waitress Sherry Merz reports that she recently served a pot pie to actor Kevin Costner ("Waterworld"), a cheeseburger to director Quentin Tarantino ("Pulp Fiction"), a quesadilla to actress Sela Ward ("Sisters"), and clam chowder to rock singer Meat Loaf. Prices are easy on the wallet at Dalts, with American diner food: a host of sandwiches, chicken pot pie, soups, salads, fries, Mexican items, apple blackberry cobbler and a spectacular chocolate malt cake. Most meals for two should easily be under $30. And they're open late.
