Q.
What is it supposed to be on the show?
A. A New York street.
Q.
Where is it supposed to be on the show?
A. In New York City.

Q. When did we see it on the show?
A. We see this location in Episode 5 of Season 1 of Resurrection.
Dexter, working as a Ur-Car rideshare driver, is brooding to
himself about Harrison not wanting him and not having any real friends,
as he drives a couple to their destination .
The couple in his back seat are getting romantic, and he wonders whether he should hook up with Mia.
He reaches what appears a sidewalk cafe and pulls over to the side of the road and drops off the couple.
On the brick wall nearby, there is a large poster advertising a performance of the ballet Swan Lake at Lincoln Center.
That gives Dexter the idea of inviting Mia out to see the show, since she had expressed an interest in ballet.
Q. What is it actually in real life?
A. A public street, and then the exterior of a restaurant
Q.
Where can I find it in real life?
A. When we first see Dexter driving in his rideshare car, he is driving west down N. Moore Street (just east of Greenwich Street), in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan.
He pulls over, stops and let's his passengers disembark in front of 71 N. Moore St., which is the address of a French restaurant named YVES.
But two other restaurants also map
to the same 71 N Moore St. address. One is an Italian place
Loconda Verde Tribeca, and the other is an American restaurant named
Smith & Mills. So it's hard for me to know which of those three
restaurants controls this particular part of the sidewalk.
But from a location standpoint, all that matters is that it is the north
side of 71 N Moore St, at the corner with Greenwich Street.
This spot is just a few doors west of Mea's apartment.
Resurrection shot a lot in the Tribeca neighborhood this season. In fact, this exact location is just two blocks northeast of the subway entrance
where they filmed Dexter emerging from (what was supposed to be) the
York Street Station, just a few blocks northeast of Harrison's Collings College of Criminology, and just a block north of the upscale steakhouse restaurant that shows up at the end of Episode 8.
Here is a matching StreetView of this location:
Here is an aerial
photo of the location. And here is a map

Q. How the heck did you figure out where it was?
A. This was such a generic New York street that I didnt think I could ever find it.
But eventually, I noticed two important details: there was the number 71 on a white door just to the right of the Swan Lake poster. And It was a cobblestone street.
When I asked Google Lens to identify a screencap, all it could tell me
was that it was probably in Tribeca, due to the cobblestone street.
I knew that they had filmed often in Tribeca, so I started focusing my search there.
But I spent hours without finding much.
Finally, I restricted my search to streets that were cobblestone and
which contained the street number 71. That only gave me a few streets to
search, and the first one I looked at was N Moore St.
And StreetView showed it to be a perfect match.
