Q. When did we see it on the show?
A. In Episode 20 (of the third season), "The Day After Tomorrow".
Sandy finds out that Dr. Griffin has had Matt beaten up (after Matt blackmailed Griffin, threatening to expose incriminating information about his shady real estate deals), so Sandy shows up at a tennis court where Dr. Griffin is practicing his backhand.

court at a private home.
Q. Where can I find it in real life?
A. Although it may appear to be part of a golf course/country club, they actually filmed this tennis court scene at Summer's house.
(Yes, the Roberts estate not only has a tennis court, it has a small golf course as well...)
Summer's house is located in the foothills of the southwest San Fernando Valley, in the city of Agoura Hills, at 28685 Wagon Road, in Agoura Hills. That's just east/northeast of the intersection of Cornell Road and W. Wagon Road.
The tennis court is located behind the mansion, at its southeast corner. (In the photo at the top of this page, the camera is looking south, back towards the Santa Monica mountains.)
Here is an aerial photo link from Live Local (looking south), with the tennis court marked.

Q. How the heck did you figure out where it was?
A. I didn't. Since the tennis court was next to a golf course, I went looking for tennis courts next to public golf courses and private country clubs. It never occurred to me that the golf course might be part of a private home. But it is. (Given the size of Summer's house, I suppose it's not all that surprising.)
After looking at every golf course in L.A. county, with no success, I had just about given up finding it.
That's when a fan from Germany, Max S., emailed me to let me know that he had figured out that it was at Summer's house. It turned out to be a small, one-hole course behind the Roberts mansion, although it looked larger on the show. I compared the scenes to aerial photos and it matched perfectly, right down position of the sand traps, the trees, and the tile roof on the mansion.
