Q. Where can I find it in real life?
A. This unusual Asian-inspired home is known as the McKinley house, built in 1996-2003 as the personal home of architect David Hertz.
It can be found at 2420 McKinley Ave, just a few blocks west of the canals of Venice, CA.
It's considered one of the "greenest" homes in the country.
(The house is also seen on the cable TV show "Californication", where it is Bill's house.)
You can see
