Remember that I put up a few photos of the church used in Arnold Schwarzenegger's "End of Days"? Well, I went back to St. Vincent's and shot a photo of the church's beautiful interior. The photo's not quite as sharp as I would prefer, because it was very dim inside the church, I was working with slow Kodacolor film, with no flash, and I had to hand-hold a two-second exposure... (Click here to see the photo.)

For those who always ask me how to break into Show Biz and/or how to become an actor... the answer is, unfortunately, I don't know. (If I did, I'd be a rich man today instead of your friendly webmaster. ;) But for those of you who still want to find out, I've collected a group of popular books on the subject written by people who know a lot more about acting than I do. It includes info on such subjects as how to get an agent, how to avoid scams, how to audition, etc.Click here to see the list.

Likewise, for those who ask me about how to sell a screenplay for a Hollywood movie, I've collected a list of books about to do just that. Click here to see the list.

I added a photo of Jack Benny's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Ever since actress Loretta Young died, it has been something of a mystery just where she was buried. At long last, I've located her grave at Holy Cross cemetery. Turns out she was buried with her mother Gladys, so her name is not inscribed on the marker. You can see a photo by clicking here.

I just added new links to the new Hollywood Subway. Look for the bright, red links near the bottom of the pages for attractions near the subway stations, such as Grauman's Chinese, the Hollywood Roosevelt, the El Capitan, the Pantages, and Universal Studios. The red links take you to the MTA's site with tons of information about how to ride the subway... once it's rolling again.

After several requests, I added a search engine to Seeing-Stars! So you can now do a search of the entire website for any keyword(s). It's quick, easy and efficient. (And considering there are 1,700+ pages on this site, it's sometimes necessary.) Try it out!

There's a new search window at the bottom of this page, and also one at the bottom of the main menu. For instance, type in "Buffy," and you'll see every page on Seeing-Stars which mentions "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (or, for that matter, "Buffy" on "Family Affair.")

The Calendar of Events, updated daily, also lists new celebrity concerts, shows, and stars about to receive stars on the Walk of Fame.

That's it for now,

Gary
