A.
In Episode 20 (of season two), "The O.C. Confidential",
where Seth & Summer arrive at a low-key business/social party
being held to help launch Seth & Zach's new graphic novel (comic
book), Atomic County.
They are a bit out of their element, and soon Summer (who was tricked into coming) tells Seth she dislikes the crowd and wants to leave.
Seth gets to meet a major comic book honcho, and is surprised when his new business associates start talking about various money-making spin-offs of Atomic County, such as video games & TV shows.
When
Seth is reluctant to leave the party early, Summer leaves with Zach (who
obviously likes the idea of taking her home).
Q. What is it actually in real life?
A. A residential
home.
Q. Where can I find it in real life?
A. This unusual Asian-inspired home is known as the McKinley house, built in 1996-2003 as the personal home of architect David Hertz.
It
can be found at 2420 McKinley Ave,
just a few blocks west of the canals of Venice, CA.
It's considered one of the "greenest" homes in the country.
(The house is also seen on the cable TV show "Californication", where it is Bill's house.)
