Award-Winning Film Starring Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, The Expendables), Ethan Embry (Vacancy, Harold & Kumar), Jessica Sonneborn (Alice D, Money Shot), Alex Rocco (The Godfather II, Smokin’ Aces), Captivates Thrill-Seeking Audiences on Saturday, April 18th

WHAT: The House Across the Street, directed by Arthur Luhn (Conned, The Golden Legacy), is set to captivate thrill-seeking moviegoers at its Los Angeles premiere at the Montalban Theatre on April 18th.

The star-studded film stars JESSICA SONNEBORN (Alice D, Money Shot, Piranha Sharks), Oscar nominated ERIC ROBERTS (The Dark Knight, The Expendables), ETHAN EMBRY (Vacancy, Harold & Kumar, Eagle Eye), COURTNEY GAINS (Children of the Corn, Back to the Future, Sweet Home Alabama) and ALEX ROCCO (The Godfather II, Smokin’ Aces, The Wedding Planner).

SYNOPSIS:  In The House Across the Street, Jessica Sonneborn plays Amy Fielder, a new girl who moves to a small town in the middle of Massachusetts to start a new life. She feels compelled to wipe the slate clean, to move on from her past, which is full of bad choices, mistakes, and misfortune. But, as the saying goes, you have to be careful you’re not running away from something because, more often than not, your past catches up with you.

No sooner than when she moves in to what she thinks is a quiet, dead-end street neighborhood, she discovers that everything isn’t quite what it seems. On her first day in her new apartment, she believes she is witness to a hit and run that kills a woman looking for her lost daughter. To Amy’s surprise and consternation, the hit and run is deftly swept under the rug, and the police don’t even file an incident report. Is the house hiding something? Is it cursed, or does it have an evil presence nobody wants to deal with?

The closer Amy moves gets to the bottom of it, the more she sees that the evil at the core is as old as the man himself. Before she knows it, she is entangled far too deep to step away without getting blood on her hands. Extracting herself is not as easy as she hopes because not only does her past come back to haunt and antagonize her psychotic dark side, but because of how complicit the small town is towards this dark secret, and how eager it is to keep the whole thing concealed.
