"Baby Boy," a cautionary South Central tale that pulls no punches
as it examines the complexities of the extended black family, is a
Columbia Pictures presentation of a New Deal Production, a John
Singleton film. "Baby Boy" is written, produced and directed by
Academy Award®-nominated John Singleton.
Executive producer is Dwight Williams. The creative team includes
cinematographer Charles E. Mills, production designer Keith Brian
Burns, costume designer Ruth Carter and editor Bruce Cannon.
The film stars Tyrese, Snoop Dogg, Ving Rhames, A.J. Johnson,
Taraji P. Henson, Omar Gooding and Tamara LaSeon Bass.
"Baby Boy" Opens Nationwide Wednesday, June 27
rated R by the MPAA for
Strong Sexuality, Language, Violence and Some Drug Use.
