An example of how using flash in photos can ruin the looks of wax figures,
using the wax figures of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones
at the Hollywood Wax Museum.

First is a shot of the "Men in Black" figures, shot with my camera hand-held, without flash:

And now here are the same figures, but shot with the my flash on this time:

See the big difference?  Flash spoils the realism by destroying the staged lighting.
