A. In Episode
5, of Season 5, "First Blood".
The Miami metro
police are investigating a string of decapitation
murders associated with the macabre Santa Muerte cult.
In this scene,
they find an early murder scene that had gone undiscovered for weeks.
We first see
Debra & Sierra parked across the street. They are checking out addresses
from a list of people who withdrew large sums of cash from the ATM.
They get out
of their unmarked car and cross the street to the blue & white
house. Debra remarks on the smell, and when she looks in the
window, she sees dozens of buzzing flies.
They kick in
the door, and once inside, discover a bloody scene with two bodies, each
crawling with maggots, flies and other bugs.

Later, we see
a patrol car pull up, with LaGuerta & Angel. Reporters are
already on the scene. Masuka is talking about how all the bugs were attracted
to the scene.

to make a maximum withdrawal from an ATM about four weeks ago.
that the bodies have already started to mummify, but it appears they were
killed with a machete, like the other Santa Muerte victims. But
since there was none of the usual cult trappings, Dexter suggests it may
have been the Fuentes brothers' first killing.
When Debra goes
back to her car, she spots something across the street. Tearing away some
of the posters on a wall, she finds an "eye" symbol that matches
the young victim's description
of the tattoo on the hand of his attacker.
